We begin with CAPS Curriculum (English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Life Skills and ICT) and with this foundation, we move into ASDAN curriculum.
ASDAN stands for Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network. ASDAN is an international programme, which progress through Bronze, Silver and Gold. EDU360 is an ASDAN partner.
ASDAN is designed for students with a significant difference between functional and chronological age, as it imparts accessible and fundamental skills for life, through structured activities which provide evidence of learning. These activities are skills-focussed with the objective of preparing students for life and successful integration into civil society.
ASDAN turns intangible and hard-to-observe knowledge and skills into measurable units of awareness and ability. Students need to complete several credits before moving onto the next level. This flowchart shows the number of credits that are needed within each stage.

The Steps
- We work with the student to choose their areas of interest.
- We match areas of interest with ASDAN programmes.
- Students complete ASDAN levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold.
- Certificates are awarded for each level competed.
- Students graduate with ASDAN Certificates of levels completed (evidence or work), and can then,
- Students choose Short Courses to complete specific study in employable skills pertaining to their defined interests and strengths.

The Academic Pathway offers higher functioning neurodiverse students that are academically-oriented an opportunity to achieve a matric, using the same approach we employ across all pathways: 360°wrap-around support, identifying and employing all the tools needed for each individual to achieve in their own time and unique way.
Our EDU360 Academic Pathway works within the international education system run by Cambridge University, which is richly skills-based, less content-heavy, more applicable and offers more exam opportunities, alleviating the anxiety of a high-stake event, and providing the possibility of achieving university entrance.
We lobby for necessary concessions and champion our students through their studies and the process of internationally accredited external examination.
Our Vocational Pathway is proud to offer the International BTEC Level 2 and 3 IT qualifications at our Rivonia and Ballito Campuses. These qualifications are specifically designed to cater to the unique learning styles and needs of students who learn differently.
The BTEC is a high-quality, career-focused qualification rooted in real-world work experience. Developed in collaboration with employers and higher education experts, BTECs ensure that graduates demonstrate the knowledge, practical skills, and understanding essential for further study or employment. BTEC students gain and apply the skills, knowledge, and behaviours that both employers and universities seek. We’re thrilled to partner with Pearson Education, combining their industry-leading resources with our expertise to provide this exceptional learning opportunity.
EDU360 offers the BTEC both onsite and online.
